Musacoin's Community Vision


There is an old African proverb that says it takes a village to raise a child. This means that everyone in the village is considered vital to insuring the growth and success of that child. Just as everyone in the village will celebrate the accomplishment of the child, they will also share the responsibility of insuring he or she becomes successful in his or her endeavors. This responsibility is assumed not only for a child, but for anything the village produces.

In today’s world of hyperconnectivity the concept of village has been replaced by community. This technology has allowed us to redefine community. Community no longer consists of a place that is limited to a geographical location, or people that share common ancestry or culture. At the core of community is the word unity. Whether the community is in a geographical location or cyberspace, it must consist of likeminded individuals that share common purpose and destiny.

At MUSA we believe that community should always be at the forefront of all that we do. Every decision must be made for the good of the community. The only way that MUSA can be successful is if the community we serve is successful.
